Renee and Alex are boyfriend and girlfriend. Most of the time, while Alex is supposed to be practicing with the band, he is with Renee at the local Wawa. When Torey starts to have issues with Leandra, Renee is very upfront about it and, in a way, convinces Alex to turn against Torey. Alex is kind of like Renee's doormat, she walks all over him and gets whatever she wants, and she's "always right". He is almost intimidated by her, because he never stands up for her. Whatever she says goes.
